Video games are good for children under 17 because they help hand and eye coordination. Also, it helps your brain concentrate, on smaller things. A reason why video games are bad is because it increases child aggression. It's also bad because it gets very addicting and may also cause children to think more about having weapons such as guns, knives, etc,. They also influence a child's violence.
Hello Spirals,
ReplyDeleteI think that you have done a nice job of listing specific reasons why video games can help children under 17 years of age, and why video games can be bad if they are addicting or if they expose children to violence.
At times in our history, certain books have been banned because of their violent content. Examples of this are famous books such as The Call of the Wild or the Autobiagraphy of Malcolm X, both of which have been banned in some places in the United States. Do you think that keeping these books away from students is the same as or different than keeping violent video games away from kids?
